A steel pile with a coupling connection is a composite structure consisting of three parts: the pile, extension, and coupling.
A pile is a welded steel pipe with a welded flange. The hollow barrel of the pile is cut at a 45-degree angle from the bottom, with technological holes located at the top.
The extension is a steel pipe that has a diameter that is identical to that of the pile, and it is equipped with technological holes located on the body of the extension.
The coupling is a connecting element between the pile and the extension, which is a larger diameter pipe equipped with technological holes. The elements are connected to each other using bolted connections.
