Piles for electric transmission lines (ETL)

Helical piles, which are manufactured by the Yuzhno-Uralsky Helical Piles Plant "Egoza," are extensively employed for foundations in power stations due to their robustness, enduring nature, and ease of installation. They provide an efficient and cost-effective method of installing foundations, compared to traditional methods like concreting.

One of the primary advantages of helical piles is their capacity to disperse loads over a larger area, thereby enabling them to withstand substantial loads in foundations for power transmission lines (PTLs)

It is straightforward to construct piles on various soil types, including sand, clay, gravel, and other similar soil types. This helps to reduce tillage. This reduces the time and cost associated with the PTL foundation installation.

Helical piles are also capable of being installed at any depth, allowing for the optimal foundation solution for specific terrain conditions. They also possess high resistance to seismic loads, which is especially crucial for power stations located in areas with increased seismic activity.

Moreover, they are capable of being coated with hot-dip galvanization and specialized paints.

The use of helical piles is a reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solution for power station foundations, providing high strength and stability while minimizing installation time and expenses.

It has been tested and repeatedly installed in projects for the Federal Grid Company (FSK), PJSC Rosseti, and Inter RAO.
